The Fat Jew, real name Joshua Ostrovsky, is cannon-balling deeper into the fashion world. The Instagram sensation recently signed to major modeling agency CAA, and now he plans to show at New York Fashion Week, according to The Cut.
Ostrovsky will show at the MADE division of NYFW, which is no less legitimate, having presented collections from Alexander Wang, Hood By Air, and Public School in the past. The Instagram star's show is dubbed the Dad Fashion Show, and will feature a mix of apparel that epitomizes "the moods and personalities of dads of all age," The Fat Jew said, according to The Cut.
The co-founder of MADE, Jenné Lombardo, is a huge supporter of the week's new addition. "Josh has always been a visionary and that is something we welcome into the MADE family," Lombardo told The Cut. "I think the establishment would agree: his keen eye, ability to identify trends and the high probability that he has fathered a yet-to-be-identified child has always kept him at the forefront of culture."
The Fat Jew will show his Dad Fashion Show on Sept. 16. Hopefully there will be free bottles of his wine, White Girl Rosé, on hand.
