A Fox News journalist is going viral for being slammed to the floor by a professional wrestler — and then hopping up with a smile afterwards.
The insane moment happened during a Fox & Friends segment that gave a preview of an upcoming Real American Freestyle event that happens on Saturday (Mar. 28) in Tampa. In the clip, journalist Abby Hornacek hopped on the wrestling mat with wrestler Kennedy Blades, who wanted to preview what she’ll do to her opponent Milana Dudieva when they’re in the ring.
Hornacek admitted that she was “nervous” to see what painful trick that Blades had up her sleeves, but decided to participate anyway.
Blades didn’t hold back as she hoisted the journalist in the air and slammed her face-first into the mat with a resounding thud.
Instead of appearing injured, upset, or winded, Hornachek hopped up happily, telling Blades what she thinks about pursuing a path in wrestling.
“I don’t think I could be a wrestler,” said Hornachek.

In other wrestling news, NBA legend Dennis Rodman will become the fifth member of the 2026 WWE Hall of Fame class. The news was broken days ago by Shams Charania, who clarified that this will be Rodman’s second Hall of Fame induction, after he was named to the Basketball Hall of Fame in 2011. Joining him in the 2026 WWE Hall of Fame class are A.J. Styles, the tag team Demolition, and Stephanie McMahon.
Rodman famously debuted in the WCW in 1997 in the nWo faction. The following year, he decided to skip a practice session during the NBA finals so that he could wrestle with late legend Hulk Hogan.
The 2026 WWE Hall of Fame induction ceremony will happen on Apr. 17.
