Before the Philadelphia Eagles prepare to take the field in Minneapolis for Super Bowl LII, one player is using their underdog victory to help a charitable cause. Offensive tackle Lane Johnson has released a limited-edition T-shirt that features himself and teammate Chris Long wearing dog masks with the phrase "Home Dogs Gonna Eat." Johnson shared his shirt on Twitter, announcing that all of the proceeds would be going to a charity that funds Philadelphia schools.
The shirts would be sold online at Johnson's website, as well as at Chickie's and Pete's sports bar in South Philly. Fans were more than eager to get their hands on the shirt to support their team as well as their city's schools.
Initially, it appeared as if the NFL decided to take Johnson's charitable act and try to profit off of it. The official NFL Twitter sent out a tweet advertising its own underdog shirt with a link for fans to buy from the official merch store.
Eagles fans were not having it.
Johnson and Long also chimed in with their disappointment over the multi-billion dollar organization's tactless act.

Long's response prompted some predictably hilarious reaction-tweets from fans as well.
