Draymond Green is once again finding himself at the center of social media controversy after firing back at a New York Knicks supporter.

The Golden State Warriors veteran responded to an X user named @HanaHoops after she posted “COME OUTSIDE BITCH” while tagging Green in a conversation surrounding his recent commentary about the Knicks during TNT’s Inside the NBA coverage.

“Watch your mouth before I crush those dirty ass kids in your banner,” Green responded.

The post immediately sparked backlash online, especially because the person’s profile banner featured two young girls.

“Im actually crying bruh why would he say that,” the user wrote in a follow-up post.

She also shared screenshots of the interaction on TikTok, joking about the bizarre moment while captioning the clip, “When you get in a random Twitter beef with Draymond Green.”

The online spat came during a busy day for Green, who also responded to another Knicks fan who jokingly invited him onto New York’s playoff bandwagon amid the team’s deep postseason run.

“Why would I? I got more rings than y’all,” Green wrote. “I don’t need to be on anyone’s bandwagon.”

Despite the back-and-forth with Knicks fans, Green has actually praised New York multiple times throughout the playoffs. During a recent television appearance, the four-time NBA champion said the Knicks were playing some of the best basketball in the league.

“There’s no one playing better than the New York Knicks,” Green said, pointing to the team’s record-breaking play in the postseason.

The Knicks are now sitting just one win away from reaching the NBA Finals for the first time since 1999, with excitement around the franchise reaching levels not seen in decades.
