Buddy Hield says his teammate Steph Curry is "touched by God."

During a postgame press conference following the Golden State Warriors' Game 3 loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves on Saturday night, Hield was asked about covering Curry's absence on the court. T

"Nobody is able to cover Steph Curry and what he does," said Hield. "There's no pressure. If you coming in thinking you got to like fill his role, you're crazy because he does so much for the team.Trust me everybody would like to do it but like he's touched by an angel, he's touched by God. He's blessed. But he's Steph Curry, man. He's always supportive, always there talking to the guys. I'm always there asking questions."

The 4-time NBA champion is currently nursing a Grade 1 left hamstring strain suffered in the first game of the best-of-seven second-round series, and he's already sat out Games 2 and 3.

The T'Wolves beat the Warriors in the two games Curry missed to grab a 2-1 series lead. It's unclear if Curry will be ready to go in Game 4, and he hasn't been officially ruled out for Game 5. The Warriors will need a Game 4 win on Monday night if Curry is expected to join them, as his most realistic return would be Game 6 on May 18.

"If we don't win, we damn sure don't have to worry about getting Steph back this year," said Jimmy Butler during the postgame conference on Saturday night. "We gotta put our big boy pants on and go out there and compete at a high level and get this one on Monday."
