All hell broke loose during the tag team match between Boom & Doom and The Infantry — and that hell somehow involved former Sneaker Shopping guest The Rizzler.
The match took place at AEW Revolution Zero Hour on Sunday (Mar. 15) in Los Angeles. After delivering a big kick on QT Marshall outside the ring, Christyan XO was approached by the nine-year-old social media star, but Carlie Bravo was not having any of it.
Even though the sides were separated, things would come to a head a few minutes later when The Infantry manager Shane Taylor decided to interfere in the match. As Taylor walked around the ring pretending to be oblivious to what had just occurred, he confronted a booing Wayne Brady, who was sitting ringside.
Taylor provoked Brady into unveiling “The Bitch Slap,” which he declared his finishing move during an interview prior to the start of the match.
“Now what?!” Brady asked, causing Taylor to lift the comedian over the barricade and throw him onto the ground.
The Rizzler then walked over to Taylor, but he was also thrown to the ground.
Out of nowhere, Big Justice came flying around the corner, and unleashed a spear on Taylor. A.J. seized the opportunity by taking out The Infantry with a diving crossbody from the top rope. Boom & Doom took advantage of a helpless Bravo, and sealed the victory.
Taylor took to X earlier today to look back at the moment when he threw The Rizzler to the ground.
“Putting this on the mantle...brought peace to L.A last night,” he wrote. “I'm such a humanitarian.”
“The disrespect!!!!!” The Rizzler wrote in an Instagram post showing an alternate angle of the moment.
The chaos begins at the 14-minute mark in the video up top.
