During his opening monologue, the 25th ESPYS host pointed out the greatness of the United States women's gymnastics team at the 2016 Olympic Summer Games, and in doing so found a way to fire off an immaculate jab at Kevin Durant. "Our gymnastics team was so dominant that Kevin Durant told me he wants to play for them next year," Manning said, as Durant coldly stared back at him. "And I gotta tell you, I don't think you'd start for that team, Kevin. Russell Westbrook, what do you think?"
Maybe Durant was just playing it off like he was bothered by Manning's joke, but it looked like KD was pissed. Of course, one person's loss is another person's gain, and Twitter was loving every minute of the awkward affair.
