Jaylen Brown Says Dillon Brooks Is the ‘Only Person’ Doing ‘Weird Stuff’ and Talking Trash

According to Brown, the self-proclaimed "Dillon the Villain" is living up to his nickname.

Jaylen Brown called out Dillon Brooks for his trash talk and on-court antics during his interview with Gillie Da Kid and Wallo267 on the latest episode of Million Dollaz Worth of Game.

"Nobody really talk trash… you know, only person that really be like, trying to do weird stuff and talk trash is Dillon Brooks," Brown said at the 39:32 mark when asked which players on the court "piss you off the most" by talking the most trash.

The Boston Celtics star referred to Brooks' persona as a "gimmick," attributing it to some players doing "whatever they need to stick in the league."

"That's just his gimmick," Brown continued. "Some players do whatever they need to stick in the league, so they like to talk trash, try to get under your skin, try to do, like, push you a little bit for no reason, and all that little type stuff. That's the only person that's really done that to me."

Some people fired back that the last time the Houston Rockets played against the Celtics, Brooks knocked down a career-high 10 three-pointers in a 114-112 win.

Following the Rockets’ victory over the Celtics, Brown told reporters that "nobody would’ve expected Dillon Brooks to hit 10 threes."

Brooks has certainly gained a reputation throughout the years for being a thorn in the side of several players. Just ask LeBron James. The Rockets forward infamously responded to a question about he and James talking trash during a playoff game by calling the Los Angeles Lakers star "old," adding that he does not respect someone until they score 40 points on him.

Brooks also once confessed his loathing towards Draymond Green and the Golden State Warriors.

"I don't like Draymond at all," he said. "I just don't like Golden State. I don't like anything to do with them. Draymond talks a lot. Gets away with a lot, too. His game is cool—with Golden State—but if you put him anywhere else, you’re not going to know who Draymond is. He plays with heart, plays hard, knows the ins and outs of their defense. I guess that’s why they like him over there."

As his bad guy reputation grew, Brooks embraced the role by anointing himself “Dillon the Villain."
