Watch Jaylen Brown Hilariously Try to Identify Chappell Roan, Sabrina Carpenter, and More

The Boston Celtics star might need to brush up on his pop culture knowledge.

Jaylen Brown clearly has more on his mind than pop music. The Celtics star struggled to identify some of the biggest artists around in a hilarious pop culture quiz that was aired during a game this weekend.

In the clip, Brown correctly identifies Mariah Carey and Whitney Houston before struggling with the rest of the artists he was asked to name. When a picture of Sabrina Carpenter popped up, he immediately said, "No clue." No big deal right? Not everyone is into pop music, even if she's been everywhere since "Espresso" came out last year. But then he failed to recognize Missy Elliott, and even doubted that the picture was of her when he was told the answer.

"That's Missy? That's not Missy," he said. Brown also thought that Luke Combs was Action Bronson, had no clue who Chappell Roan was, and couldn't name Paul McCartney.

While he didn't do all that great, Brown looked like a music expert when his teammate Payton Pritchard was asked to name the same artists. Unlike Brown, however, Pritchard has clearly heard "Espresso" like the rest of the country.

While the two Celtics players struggled with the quiz, they performed well where it counted and helped their team beat the Knicks 118 - 105. The team is sitting 2nd overall in the Eastern Conference right now behind the Cleveland Cavaliers.
