Jaden Ivey and his wife Caitlyn appear to be on good terms following a tumultuous period where she publicly denied cutting off communication with her husband after he was waived by the Chicago Bulls.
In a post shared on Instagram on Monday (April 27), Ivey posted a photo of himself with Caitlyn, alongside a verse from Proverbs about how finding a wife is a “good thing.”
“Thank you Jesus for saving us,” he wrote. “Thank you for your mercy and goodness towards us.”
After being waived by the Bulls following a series of controversial remarks last month, Ivey appeared on Instagram Live, alleging his family members were “betraying me because of what I spoke.”
“These are my own family members who love me. My blood,” he said. “Those who raised me said that I don't know the truth. 'Man, he's psycho.' He's this, he's that. Those are my own household. All because of the gospel. All because I said the truth.”
Ivey also claimed Caitlyn, who was allegedly watching his livestream, stopped speaking to him.
Caitlyn later took to Instagram Stories where she denied cutting off communication with her husband, with whom she shares three children.
“We were communicating all morning of that day,” she wrote. “People say things for attention, do not be deceived.”
“If you know me you know I have never once abandoned that man through all the trials… and I still haven’t now,” she added in another post. “There is obviously a lot more going on, so leave your conspiracies and guesses to yourselves.”
