WNBA star Angel Reese is making history.
She became the first professional athlete to walk in a Victoria's Secret fashion show, and photos and videos she posted from the runway are going viral. Fittingly, they show Angel wearing angel wings.
"First @victoriassecret fashion show💗," Reese wrote on Instagram alongside the photo collage, which accrued more than 200,000 likes in just three hours after she posted it on October 16.
Some of the photos show her walking the runway in pink wings and white lingerie festooned with pink flowers. She wears white angel wings in other photos and videos.
Reese's fans responded with great enthusiasm in her Instagram comment thread. "EVERYONE ELSE CAN SCRAM!!!!! You are and always will be THAT GIRL!!! I love you!!!!" wrote one.
"Our ANGEL," another person noted. "You walk that walk Angel, Congrat🔥🔥" wrote another person. "Girl you manifested that! Whew! Absolutely beautiful!!! 💕💕💕💕," a fan responded.
Reese wrote on X on October 16, "I don’t work jobs. I AM THE JOB."
She also responded to a fan's X post, who wrote, "Never speak on angel reese #VSFashionShow."
Reese wrote, "NEVER. #thankyaaaa."
According to CNN, Reese "became the first professional athlete to walk the runway at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show" on October 16, as the fashion line tries to rebrand itself.
Reese was joined on the runway by Bella and Gigi Hadid, and model Adriana Lima, CNN reported.
Reese plays for the Chicago Sky in the WNBA.
According to CNN, Reese claimed she "manifested" the moment.
“I posted on my (Instagram) Story last year, when I was here at the show watching front row. I said, ‘I’m gonna be a Victoria’s Secret model one day,’” she said to CNN, adding: “I didn’t know it was gonna come this fast.
