Angel Reese wants everyone to know that she takes basketball very serious — despite the fact that she gets a lot of attention for being attractive.

The rising WNBA player addressed her haters on her Unapologetically Angel podcast and let them know she loves to hoop, regardless of what she looks like. "Just because I’m fine, does not mean I don’t take basketball serious," said Reese around the 34:30 mark in the video below. "Like this whole gag, let’s give it up."

"I’m sorry, you gotta talk to my mom," she continued, giving her haters the person who’s responsible for her good looks. "Being fine, I have to — that’s my thing. But I also hoop."

Reese gave some context to her good looks by explaining what her schedule recently looked like. "I got up this morning and worked out, and then got my makeup done," she explained. "I maximize my 24 hours so I am very sorry, actually I’m not sorry, but I’m sorry for those who feel some type of way that they can’t be fine and play basketball."

Elsewhere in the podcast, Reese addressed her haters again — this time, focusing on those who criticized her for grabbing her own rebounds. This summer, Reese turned that criticism into Mebounds merchandise. On her podcast, she revealed how much she made from it.

"So the Mebounds, if you know, you know," she said. "They tried to clown me for rebounds, and what did I do? I made a bag off of it. Six figures plus, thank you. So ya’ll can try again because I need another idea for some new colorways."

In August, Reese revealed that she donated some of the money she made from Mebounds to her foundation for cyberbullying.

Last month, Reese had to sit out in the first half of the Chicago Sky’s game with the Las Vegas Aces due to comments she made about the team in an interview with The Chicago Tribune.

"I’m not settling for the same shit we did this year," Reese told the paper. "We have to get great players [this offseason] or else I might consider moving on."
