NFL star Stefon Diggs credits his successful football season to his girlfriend, Grammy winner Cardi B.
Last month, the couple welcomed their first child together, a baby boy, and after a short break, the rapper supported Diggs on the field. Cardi also shares three older children with her estranged husband, former Migos member Offset.
During a Wednesday (January 21) press conference, the New England Patriots wide receiver spoke about the Am I the Drama? rapper, calling her an "amazing supporter."
"She wasn’t a football girl before I converted her over," Diggs said. "But, I’m just thankful to have her in my corner. She’s an amazing woman. And continue to build that relationship."
He added, "I just appreciate her. Hopefully, I can build on that and watch that tree grow."
Earlier this month, Cardi rooted for the Patriots as they defeated the Los Angeles Chargers while watching the game at home. The Patriots are now among four teams that are contenders to play in the Super Bowl LX, which will be held February 8 in Santa Clara, California.
Last year, the rapper was a guest host on TODAY With Jenna & Friends where she joked about "cursing people out" whenever she watches the Patriots play. Last December, Cardi was at New Jersey's MetLife Stadium when the Patriots won against the New York Jets, with one viral clip showing Diggs and Cardi interacting via FaceTime before she came down to the field.
Cardi B's headlining Little Miss Drama Tour begins on February 11, right after the Super Bowl, meaning that the rapper will probably be at Levi's Stadium if the Patriots play in the championship.
