Lamar Odom has no shame in copping a blow-up sex doll designed in the image of his ex-wife, Khloé Kardashian.
The former NBA player splurged on the item at the RealDoll sex toy factory in Las Vegas, reportedly wanting it to have "voluptuous curves" and a face that looks like Kardashian's "because he can do whatever he wants with her sexually." Odom and Kardashian were married from 2009 to 2016, divorcing amid the athlete's struggle with substance abuse and infidelity.
But on a new episode of podcast, We're Out of Time with Richard Taite, Odom stood beside his sex doll purchase, where he claimed that it was simply about his "mental health."
"Like, when you're really thinking about it, like a doll," he said around the 14-minute mark of the episode. "But then you think about, like...mental health. And how important that is, not just in today's time, but, you know, from the beginning of time."
"It's sick, but I think we're all a little off, a little weird," Odom continued.
He added that the doll will be made to look like Kardashian, before joking that he needs "a harem."
Odom also intrusively shared that self-love is a part of his regimen, saying that he masturbates "every day."
Earlier in the conversation, Odom revealed that while he and Kardashian, who shares two children with her former partner Tristan Thompson, don't speak often, but she "still cares" about him.
"I don't speak to her. I can text her and she'll reply," he said.
Odom and Kardashian married on Sept. 27, 2009, just one month after they met, but the marriage dissolved after rumors of Odom cheating and abusing drugs began to circulate in 2013. In October 2015, four months after he and Kardashian signed divorce papers, Odom was hospitalized after being found unconscious in a Nevada brothel. Although Kardashian reconnected with Odom as support through his recovery, the divorce was finalized the following December.
Odom has repeatedly shared his regrets about splitting from Kardashian, but remains relatively close to the Kardashian-Jenners. Last March, in collaboration with Kardashian's former stepparent, Caitlyn Jenner, Odom debuted the podcast Keeping Up with Sports.
