Drake stole the show during night one of the World Series, just in time for his 39th birthday.

On Friday (October 24), the $ome $exy $ongs 4U rapper and his crew hosted a suite at Toronto's Rogers Centre while the Toronto Blue Jays played the Los Angeles Dodgers. Thankfully, the "Drake Curse" was lifted, as the home team won 11-4.

In a quick vlog from the game, Drizzy repped his hometown as the "biggest sixer" and flaunted an iced-out chain with a blue jay at the bottom.

"Shout out to the Jays, we're down right now, but we've been here before," said the five-time Grammy winner. (The Jays were losing at that point, something they remedied shortly thereafter).

Just days before the first game, Drake celebrated the Blue Jays' win against the Seattle Mariners that sent them to the Series.

"One strike away? What do you mean? We're here. It's already written. We're going to the big show. Get the boys a pizza and some Cokes," he jokingly told his friends.

Drake is notorious for often rooting for the wrong team, which he tried to debunk earlier this year, calling the accusation "funny."

"I feel like I don’t play sports, so whether I pick the wrong team or not—if I could get out on the field and win for all your favorite teams, I would," he said on sports-betting platform Stake in May.

The World Series continues with a second game between the Dodgers and Blue Jays on Saturday (October 25). Want to rep the Dodgers? Be sure to grab fan merch on Complex Shop.
