Dave Portnoy went after Adin Ross after the streamer allegedly egged on an antisemitic gesture.

According to the Daily Mail, the internet personalities had a heated text exchange after Ross encouraged Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Puka Nacua to perform a touchdown dance with an antisemitic reference. With both Portnoy and Ross being Jewish, the businessman thought it was fair to call out the popular streamer. The gesture showed Ross and Nacua spin around and cunningly rub their hands together.

"I thought the way he set up Puka Nacua, by telling him to do that dance, was a total asshole move by him," Portnoy reportedly told the Daily Mail. "Anybody with a brain knew that would cause a controversy. For what? So Adin could get a couple clicks?"

In his text messages to Portnoy, Ross called the dance "a joke" that shouldn't be taken "too seriously."

"Yeah telling a dude to do an antisemitic td [touchdown] dance 5 seconds after 15 people get murdered in Australia surely wouldn’t be taken too seriously,” Portnoy replied. "Idiotic thing to do. You play both sides."

Elsewhere, the businessman called Ross a "a Jew who wants the cool kids to seem like he’s a cool Jew."
"Suck Kanye’s dick," he continued. "Tell puka to do that dance. If you don’t think there is a difference between how Jews are being treated in the world vs 2 years ago you’re an idiot."

While Ross fought back, writing that Portnoy was giving Jewish people "a bad rep," Nacua issued an apology on his Instagram account, writing that he had "no idea that this act was antisemitic in nature and perpetuated harmful stereotypes against Jewish people."

In November, Portnoy requested grace on CBS Sunday Morning for past offensive comments that he's made, proclaiming that he's been targeted with antisemitic insults.
