Watch Draymond Green Throw the First Pitch of the Cubs-Giants NLDS Game 4 Into the Ground

Draymond Green had an invitation to throw out the first pitch at an A's-Rangers game in Oakland during the NBA Finals in June, but he declined because he was serving his suspension. So Green reached out the Giants to throw out the first pitch four months later, since the team is facing the Cubs in the NLDS.

After watching this clip above, you'll probably have a better understanding of why Draymond Green choose a career in basketball rather than baseball. The Warriors All-Star forward/center and Team USA member's first pitch for Game 4 of the Cubs-Giants playoff series at AT&T Park on Tuesday evening wasn't very good, to say the least. In fact, it was straight trash.

Moments before Draymond walked out onto the mound, he met Giants legends and Hall of Famers Willie Mays and Willie McCovey. According to the SF Chronicle, Mays had reportedly told Green in the team's clubhouse before he stepped onto the mound, "Don't hold the ball too tight." But it seems that advice from the Say Hey Kid didn't register for Draymond.

In the clip above, you can hear the handclaps and whistles rooting for Green to hurl a good pitch towards home plate. But he fails not only to reach home plate, he even misses the surrounding dirt. His lackadaisical effort audibly shocked the fans in the stadium, though Green tried to play it off like he didn't care.

Not that we were expecting him to throw heat like Giants pitchers Johnny Cueto or Madison Bumgarner. But we didn't expect Draymond to throw something as bad as, or if not worse than, 50 Cent or anybody else who made our list of the worst first pitches ever.
