Simone Biles’ mom teased Snoop Dogg during live television at the Paris Olympics opening ceremony.

Nellie Biles was being interviewed by Hoda Kotb for NBC, alongside Snoop, who's also taken on hosting duties.

"She is happy that we’re here," Nellie told Snoop about her daughter.

“Snoop, I don’t know if you know this but Simone and you have known each other for a long time, right Nellie?” Hoda interjected.

After a seemingly perplexed Snoop asked how, Nellie recalled the time Snoop snubbed her photo request in New York City.

“I will never forget that we met you in Times Square in 2010 and you said—‘cause we asked for a picture—and you said, ‘Two minutes.' One, two, and you were gone," she added, resulting in laughter from everyone on set.

And while Simone wasn’t present for the conversation, as she was conserving her energy for her competition on Sunday, we'll be seeing a lot more of her this week. After a strong opening day, Biles is well positioned to medal in Paris, because of course she is.
