Kevin Hart’s Chocolate Droppa Raps About 'Big 3' in Cypher With Kai Cenat: 'Them Not Me?'

Kevin Hart’s Chocolate Droppa alter ego laments any talk of a "Big 3" in the 2024 AMP Freshman Cypher.

A little over nine minutes into the video above, notably following Kai Cenat’s verse, Hart made a surprise appearance during which he advised burning the microphone after his performance.

"You know I get a lot of questions on the daily," Hart said, specifying that what he, as Droppa, gets the most are inquiries on his recent whereabouts, namely of the "Where you been?" variety.

"My answer to that is minding my fucking business," Hart added. "Sometimes you gotta pop out and show n***as. I guess this is my pop-out."

From there, Hart’s Droppa expressed frustration over that aforementioned "Big 3" debate, like so:

All this talk about the Big 3, fuck that, them not me?
Goddamn, I'm mad
Oh shit, you sad?
Well, it's time to get glad, 'cause I'm back and I'm really mad

Elsewhere, Hart tucks in a Cenat mention ("I’m streaming with Kai now/What that mean? I don’t know but I’m in it, you not") and boasts of having been both "a dog" and "a hog" for quite some time now.

Hart and Cenat have been in and out of headlines together as of late, including for a recent livestream moment involving a FaceTime surprise from LeBron James. Indeed, as seen on a stream back in June, LeBron called Hart while he was on camera with Cenat and Druski. Naturally, he managed to crack a few jokes about the Lakers' season-ending Nuggets loss, including one about a nonexistent "game 8."

As for Hart's musical side, we're now almost eight years removed from the release of the debut Chocolate Droppa mixtape, which featured everyone from Metro Boomin to Lil Yachty. Around the time of that 2016 project's rollout, Hart, as Droppa, spoke with Complex while making a more strict separation between himself and the character. When asked about Hart's involvement with the mixtape, for example, Droppa expressed gratitude for some early words of encouragement he says he got from the comedian.

"That’s a positive brother—somebody who always stood in my corner," Droppa told Chris Lee for Complex at the time. "He told me I had the potential to be the eighth or ninth best in the game."

It remains to be seen whether the 2024 AMP Freshman Cypher will be followed by a full-scale return of Chocolate Droppa, whose 2016 tape was released by Motown.
