Much to our surprise, Floyd Mayweatherdid end up driving the Koenigsegg CCXR Trevita that he bought back in August for $4.8 million. We kind of assumed that he’d buy the car and then stash it in his garage, which is what he seems to do with all of his super expensive rides. But he actually pulled it out of the driveway a few times and drove it in the days leading up to his fight with Andre Berto.
We haven’t seen Mayweather driving the Trevita in awhile, though, so it’s probably safe to say that he’s over it for the time being. And what do you do when you put your $4.8 million car on ice? Well, you go out and buy a more affordable $3.5 million ride to replace it. Mayweather took to Instagram last night to show off his new 2015 Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse, which cost him $3,498,000.
It’s good to see Mayweather didn’t let that trailer fire that burned up four of his cars a few weeks ago put a damper on his spirits. How many times do you think he’ll get around to driving his new Bugatti?
