Earlier this afternoon, the Giants parted ways with defensive end Damontre Moore. At the time, reports indicated that the team decided to release Moore because of a series of behavioral issues. Specifically, it sounds like Moore has caused problems at practice on a number of occasions.
But according to NFL.com’s Ian Rapoport, there is one specific incident that caused the Giants to cut their ties with Moore. Apparently, he was involved in a fight with teammate Cullen Jenkins before practice today. A fight that was reportedly over some free Beats By Dre headphones that were given to the team by Odell Beckham Jr.:
Damn, man. You may have just cost yourself a career over…headphones?!
We need to hear both sides here, but we can't wait to hear what Moore has to say about this.
