Update: It's Almost 2016 and Karl Malone Is Still Using a Flip Phone

Karl Malone is a Hall of Fame NBA player who ended up second on the league's all-time scoring list by the time his 17-year career was finished, and made more than $104 million in career earnings, not including endorsements.

He could certainly afford to own the latest and greatest in smart phone technology, but as this picture from last night shows, he's content to rock with a flip phone that looks as though it's from 1999.

He and his former teammate John Stocktonproudly posed with their flip phones almost two years ago, but somehow, Malone's appears to be in fine working condition.
