Bayley appears to be feeling overlooked—and she isn’t hiding it.
As WWE ramps up its promotional push for WrestleMania 42, the longtime fan favorite has found herself on the outside looking in, prompting renewed conversation about her place in the company’s current hierarchy.
According to Newsweek, the latest wave of WrestleMania 42 commercials has prominently featured stars like Charlotte Flair, Becky Lynch, Rhea Ripley, Jade Cargill, Tiffany Stratton, Iyo Sky, and Liv Morgan as WWE prepares to return to Las Vegas for the second straight year.
Shortly after one of the new promotional videos dropped, Bayley posted a brief but pointed message on social media. “WOULDA ATE ALL YALLS DINNER IF I SAT AT DA TABLE,” she wrote—which quickly set off speculation among fans about her frustration with being left out of the spotlight once again.
The reaction also ties back to WrestleMania 41, where Bayley was notably missing from the event. Despite being a former WWE Women’s Champion and one of the most recognizable faces of the modern women’s division, she was written off television in the lead-up.
During that time, Becky Lynch stepped into a significant role, teaming with Lyra Valkyria to capture the Women’s Tag Team Championships from Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez, while Bayley remained sidelined.
Bayley eventually resurfaced on the June 9 episode of Monday Night Raw, immediately re-entering the mix by attacking Lynch.
Since then, her on-screen character has taken a darker, more unpredictable turn, with WWE leaning into a storyline that highlights her increasingly erratic behavior. Although she initially appeared positioned for a push toward the Women’s Intercontinental Championship, that momentum cooled as Valkyria became the focus.
After another stretch off television, Bayley later realigned herself with Valkyria, though their partnership has been portrayed as unstable on-screen.
Even with consistent crowd support and a proven track record, she has yet to be centered in WWE’s biggest promotional moments tied to WrestleMania’s return.
