For Tom Brady, one of the most meaningful milestones of 2026 had nothing to do with football. Nearly two decades after ending their relationship, Brady and actress Bridget Moynahan came together to celebrate their son Jack’s high school graduation.
Brady shared photos from the ceremony on Instagram, including a family portrait with Moynahan standing beside 18-year-old John “Jack” Edward Thomas Moynahan. The former NFL star also posted images featuring his younger children, Benjamin and Vivian, whom he shares with ex-wife Gisele Bündchen. The graduation represented a major milestone for Jack, who was born in 2007 after Brady and Moynahan had already gone their separate ways.
In a heartfelt message accompanying the photos, Brady reflected on the achievement and the young man Jack has become. “One of the proudest days of my life, watching Jack walk across the stage, and graduate into the next chapter of what’s already an impressive life,” Brady wrote. He praised his son not only for his accomplishments but also for his character, describing him as “an amazing son, brother, grandson, nephew, and friend.”
The former quarterback went on to highlight the qualities that matter most to him. “What makes me the happiest and most proud is watching the way you live your life every day,” Brady wrote, adding that he admires how Jack treats others and supports his family.
He also included a lighthearted nod to their competitive relationship, joking that he appreciates “the fact that you still let me win in 1v1 every once in a while.”
Brady concluded with a message of encouragement: “Whatever you chase next, we know you’ll find success in. Be kind. Be yourself.”
The reunion carried added significance given the history between Brady and Moynahan. The pair dated from 2004 until late 2006 before ending their nearly three-year relationship.
Just months later, Moynahan learned she was pregnant with Jack, a development that unfolded after Brady had already begun a relationship with Bündchen. The situation became one of the most closely watched celebrity storylines of the era, but both parents ultimately built a successful co-parenting partnership.
Over the years, Moynahan has publicly praised the support system surrounding their son. Speaking to People in 2019, she said, “We both found partners that not only supported us in raising that child, but also loved our child as if he was their own.”
