Lamar Odom has entered a residential treatment program following his recent DUI arrest in Las Vegas.

The former NBA champion checked into a 30-day rehab facility earlier this month after what his team described as a moment of reflection following the incident.

His manager, Gina Rodriguez, said the decision was voluntary and centered on accountability and prevention.

“After a recent incident, he took a step back to reflect and address triggers he’s been dealing with,” Rodriguez told Page Six. “He’s taking full responsibility and choosing to be proactive about his well-being.”

She added that Odom is “grateful for the support and is committed to moving forward in a healthy, positive way.”

Odom was arrested on January 17 and charged with driving under the influence. According to reports, he is also facing two traffic-related citations tied to the arrest, including speeding more than 41 miles per hour over the limit and failing to maintain his lane.

As part of his treatment, Odom is reportedly working to stop using marijuana, which those close to him say he worries could become a gateway back to more dangerous substances.

The rehab facility where he’s staying specializes in treating substance use and co-occurring mental health issues, with an emphasis on long-term balance and wellness.

The 46-year-old’s struggles with addiction have been widely documented over the years. In 2015, he survived a near-fatal overdose after being found unconscious at a Nevada brothel, an incident that left him in a coma and marked one of the darkest chapters of his life.

At the time, his then-wife Khloé Kardashian paused their divorce proceedings to help care for him during his recovery.

Odom has since spoken openly about the ups and downs of maintaining sobriety. In a 2021 interview, he revealed that he had undergone supervised ketamine treatments as part of his recovery process, saying the experience helped him regain stability.

“I’m alive, I’m sober, I’m happy,” he said at the time.
