New York Mets shortstop Francisco Lindor is officially putting down roots in Manhattan.

According to The New York Post, the All-Star infielder and his wife, Katia Reguero Lindor, recently closed on a sprawling Upper East Side penthouse that checks every box for space, privacy, and high-end design. The price tag: a reported $21.2 million.

The newly built residence spans approximately 5,300 square feet and features six bedrooms and six-and-a-half bathrooms, providing ample space for the Lindors and their three children.

Set in a luxury Upper East Side building near Gracie Mansion, the penthouse blends classic architectural elements with modern finishes, creating a sense of grandeur and livability.

Inside, the home opens to a formal foyer that leads into a dramatic 39-foot-long living room. Eleven-foot ceilings, oversized arched windows, and direct terrace access give the space an airy feel while framing sweeping skyline views. A gas fireplace anchors the room, adding warmth without distracting from the clean lines and open layout.

Designed for both everyday living and entertaining, the residence includes a formal dining room and a separate library, each with access to outdoor terraces.

A full bar connects the dining area to an eat-in chef’s kitchen outfitted with a large island, two sinks, two dishwashers, and a custom banquette that creates a casual gathering spot. The kitchen also opens directly to a terrace equipped with an outdoor grill and dining area, extending the living space outside.

The primary suite serves as a private retreat, featuring two walk-in closets and a spa-inspired bathroom with heated marble floors. One additional bedroom can be incorporated into the primary suite if desired, while the remaining bedrooms are located in a separate wing, each with its own en suite bath.

Beyond the penthouse itself, the building offers a long list of amenities, including a fitness center with a yoga room and infrared sauna, a screening room, children’s and teen lounges, a pet-washing station, and a dedicated music room complete with recording equipment.

Purchased through an anonymous shell company, the penthouse was last listed at just under $23 million before Lindor entered into a contract to purchase the property in late 2024.
