Former NFL offensive lineman Matt Kalil has filed a lawsuit against his ex-wife, model and influencer Haley Kalil, after comments she made during a livestream reignited public attention he says he worked hard to avoid after retiring from football.

According to court documents reviewed by TMZ, the 36-year-old alleges that Haley’s remarks during a November appearance on Marlon Garcia’s Mar-Athon livestream crossed a legal line by revealing what he describes as deeply personal and private information.

The comments, which quickly went viral, centered on Haley discussing Matt’s anatomy and framing it as a major factor in the breakdown of their marriage, which ended in divorce in 2022.

During the livestream, Haley described the issue in exaggerated terms, at one point comparing Matt’s penis size to “two Coke cans, maybe even a third.”

She also suggested the situation was a constant challenge throughout their relationship. “Deada**… for our whole marriage,” she said, explaining that the couple explored multiple options, including therapy and medical consultations, in an attempt to make things work.

Matt claims those remarks had immediate and lasting consequences. In the lawsuit, he states that the livestream led to “unwanted attention and invasive commentary from the public,” adding that his family has been forced to endure the repeated circulation of what he characterizes as degrading statements. He further alleges that the situation has escalated since his remarriage.

Matt married his current wife, Keilani Asmus, in 2024. The couple shares a one-year-old son. The lawsuit claims that Asmus has received messages that are “increasingly frequent, disturbing, and alarming in nature,” which Matt directly attributes to the renewed online focus sparked by his ex-wife’s comments.

The former Pro Bowl tackle is suing for invasion of privacy and is requesting a jury trial, along with damages exceeding $75,000. He alleges that Haley benefited financially from the viral moment through increased engagement, viewership, and monetization across social media platforms.

After the livestream gained traction, Haley addressed the backlash in a statement to Page Six, saying she still cared “deeply” about Matt’s privacy. She added that the conversation had included more than what ultimately made headlines, emphasizing that there was also discussion about “the love in our marriage, the growth we experienced, [and] the depth of our connection.”
