The next stop on WWE’s Premium Live Event schedule is already shaping up, and all eyes are on the Elimination Chamber.
Wrestling Inc. confirms that the 2026 edition will be held in Chicago, Illinois, with the Allstate Arena set as the likely venue. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the date is currently locked for Saturday, February 28, 2026.
This event carries extra weight, as it will be the final major show before WrestleMania 42. For longtime fans, it also marks a return to U.S. soil for the Elimination Chamber for the first time since 2021—and the first with a live crowd since 2020.
The Chamber has been one of WWE’s most traveled Premium Live Events in recent years. After the pandemic-era show in Florida in 2021, WWE staged the event in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, in 2022, Montreal in 2023, and Perth, Australia, in 2024.
Earlier this year, Toronto’s Rogers Centre hosted the action. Chicago’s addition to the lineup brings the event back stateside for the first time in half a decade, setting up a major moment in the road to WrestleMania.
The 2026 calendar already has some big stops mapped out. The year will kick off with WWE heading to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on January 31 for the Royal Rumble. After that, the Elimination Chamber takes over Chicago before leading directly into WrestleMania 42, scheduled for April 18 and 19 at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. It will be the second straight year WrestleMania is staged at Allegiant, signaling that WWE is making Las Vegas a central hub for its biggest event of the year.
Other destinations are also on the schedule. SummerSlam is locked in for Minneapolis on August 1 and 2, and Money in the Bank heads to New Orleans on August 29. WWE has also confirmed a first-ever international WrestleMania in 2027, when the event will be staged in Riyadh.
For now, the February date in Chicago stands. Unless AEW counter-programming forces a shuffle, the Windy City is set to host one of WWE’s most dangerous and anticipated match concepts, just weeks before the biggest stage of them all.
