WWE superstar Ron Killings — known as R-Truth in the ring — has traded his bars for boots, promoting his new country album, The White Album, in nightclubs nationwide.
The Tennessean was on hand on Thursday, July 10, when Killings held an album release party at The Corner at Wedgewood in Nashville. The "Legacy" rapper performed to an intimate crowd, who seemed to respond well to the wrestler's new creative turn.
Killings will also be hosting an official release party for The White Album on August 15, 2025, at the Kowloon Restaurant in Saugus, MA. Tickets are currently on sale and cost $100 for VIP admission, and $50 for general admission.
Despite recently promoting a hip-hop track called "Respect" earlier this month, Killings seems committed to his new country music sound.
Recently, too, Killings stopped by the Country Music Association, where he promised to use his WWE celebrity status to raise its profile.
"I want to take CMA to a level it's never been before," he said in a video posted on Monday, July 14. "I'm happy. Y'all don't understand how I'm downplaying it, because I'm trying to keep my cool."
Meanwhile, in the ring, Killings made headlines when his bout against Aleister Black ended with Black's defeat after Killings hit him with an Okada roll on the previous SmackDown episode.
There have also been rumors that Killings is trying to start a new wrestling faction with three other SmackDown stars Carmelo Hayes, and the Street Profits (Angelo Dawkins & Montz Ford), following an Instagram post that suggested as much.
"I'm driving now...hop in," he wrote on Sunday, July 13.
Fans were overall delighted at the prospect, comparing Killings' new proposed faction to the likes of The Nation of Domination, one of the most popular factions in WWE's Attitude Era.
