Bianca Belair returned to WWE in the most unexpected way possible Saturday night, stepping into Allegiant Stadium during WrestleMania 42 to announce that she and fellow WWE star Montez Ford are expecting their first child together.
The surprise came moments after Liv Morgan retained the Women’s World Championship against Stephanie Vaquer on Night 1 of WrestleMania. Host John Cena entered the ring to announce the official attendance of 50,816 before Belair made her first WWE appearance in nearly a year. After interrupting Cena, Belair told him there had been a mistake in the count.
"Add one more," she said before revealing her baby bump to a stunned crowd.
The moment marked Belair’s first appearance since WrestleMania 41, where she competed in a critically acclaimed triple-threat match against Iyo Sky and Rhea Ripley.
That bout ended with Belair suffering a serious finger injury that kept her out of action for the past year.
Belair and Ford have been one of WWE’s most recognizable real-life couples for years. The pair met in 2016 while training with WWE, got engaged the following year, and married on June 23, 2018. They renewed their vows in Las Vegas in 2023 after celebrating five years of marriage.
Although this will be the couple’s first child together, Belair has long embraced her role in helping raise Ford’s two children from a previous relationship. The family has largely stayed out of the spotlight despite the couple opening up about their lives in the Hulu reality series Love & WWE: Bianca & Montez, which premiered in 2024.
"It's very busy, very demanding, but at the same time I get to bring my family along with me and we're having fun," Belair previously told People while discussing balancing wrestling, home life, and filming the series.
Ford has also frequently praised Belair's role in their family. In a previous Mother's Day message, he wrote that "mothers truly keep the kingdom afloat" and thanked Belair for helping raise his children.
Outside the ring, the two have built one of WWE’s strongest partnerships without turning their marriage into an on-screen storyline. Belair previously told People that she and Ford intentionally keep their relationship separate from WWE television to "keep our marriage sacred" while continuing to support each other's careers.
