During the Dallas Mavericks and Boston Celtics game on Saturday, Jan. 25, a missed cross-court pass by Kyrie Irving left a young fan with a nosebleed.

In the second quarter of the game, Irving attempted to pass to Jaden Hardy but instead sent the ball flying into the front row of the American Airlines Center, hitting a young boy in the face. As reported by People, the young fan named Asher was left with tears in his eyes and a nosebleed. Several players from both teams approached the boy after noticing the accident.

As seen in footage shared by ESPN below, players who came to comfort him included Derrick Whtie, Jaylen Brown, and P.J. Washington. At one point, Irving asked a members of the Mavericks staff if the boy was okay.

"Is he okay? You alright, kid? Let me see," Irving asked. "Yeah, you good, bro. My bad, bro." Thankfully, the boy was able to enjoy the rest of the game, and was seen cheering on the Mavericks, who ultimately lost to the Celtics with a score of 122-107.

Saturday wasn't the best night for Irving, who was frank about his team's loss to the Celtics when he spoke with the media after the game. "[The Celtics] made adjustments and that’s what great teams do, especially when they are champions in the league," Irving said, per Mass Live. "They handled our pressure, they adjusted to our zone coverage, they started getting open shots and it’s a pretty easy game from there."
