According to the attorney of Instagram model Aileen Lopera, Stefon Diggs is the father of her child.
As reported by Page Six, the NFL star, who is currently expecting his first child with girlfriend Cardi B, is the father of Lopera’s baby after a paternity test allegedly confirmed as much. “The paternity has been confirmed, Mr. Diggs is the father of the child,” said attorney Tamar Arminak. “Now that the child’s paternity has been established and Mr. Diggs has acknowledged his daughter, my client hopes they can work toward being great parents to their child.”
Arminak added that the case hasn’t been dismissed, and “will move forward if the parties are not able to resolve [their issue] themselves.” Lopera hit Diggs with a paternity dispute in September, just one day after Cardi B announced she was expecting a child with the NFL player. She first launched a petition to establish the paternity of her then-unborn child, Charliee Harper Diggs-Lopera, in November 2024. She requested that he cover her pregnancy and birth expenses and her attorney’s fees. Legal documents reviewed by Complex showed that she also requested sole legal and physical custody of her daughter, but would allow him visitation rights.
Following her initial petition, Diggs filed a response in July, three months after Lopera gave birth in April. He requested a genetic test to confirm that he’s the biological father, and if paternity is established, that he would want joint custody. He also sought “joint payment of reasonable expenses of pregnancy and birth and attorney’s fees and costs.”
Diggs’ child with Cardi B will be his third child, while it will be Cardi’s fourth. She previously welcomed three children with her estranged husband, Offset. He recently let slip that his child with Cardi will be a boy.
