Los Angeles Clippers guard Patrick Beverley has no qualms about rubbing his team's victory in the face of Golden State Warriors fans. Following the Clippers 141-122 win over the Warriors on Thursday, Beverley decided to chime in with some thoughts about the team now they no longer have their former star player Kevin Durant.

"Y'all a little different without KD, I see," said Beverley, according to Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports. "Uh-huh, y'all cheated long enough. It's OK. Y'all had a good run. Back to reality." Durant left the Warriors earlier this year to join the Brooklyn Nets, although his status for the 2019-20 season remains unclear as he recovers from his ruptured Achilles following the 2019 NBA Finals.

Patrick Beverley and Kevin Durant have been taking shots at each other for over a year at this point. Their back-and-forth culminated in both of them getting ejected after receiving two double technicals in less than 20 seconds during the 4th quarter of a game. Durant has also accused the Clippers, and Beverley in particular, of using what he called "gimmick defense."

Fellow Clippers player Kawhi Leonard offered up a more subdued response when asked about the win. "We all came in and played well," he said. "We wanted to win the game and keep our streak going."

Warriors coach Steve Kerr was, understandably, disappointed in how his team performed during Thursday's game. "It doesn't feel very good. Losing stinks," he said. "It’s no fun. This is more of the reality of the NBA. The last five years we’ve been living in a world that isn’t supposed to exist. Five years basically, record-wise, the best stretch anybody has had over five years. This is reality."
