Chad Ochocinco Responds to Keith Lee's Boxing Challenge: 'Better Stop Playing With Me'

The former NFL star believes he could take on the food critic and former mixed martial artist.

Chad Ochocinco has responded to food critic and former mixed martial artist Keith Lee's proposition for a celebrity boxing match.

On the latest installment of Nightcap, his podcast with Shannon Sharpe, Ocho indicated that Lee better be ready to put his money where his mouth is. "Keith Lee better stop playing with me, alright?" Ocho said when the topic was brought up. "He better stop playing with me, 'cause he ain't gonna be doing no food critic... He gonna be eating everything through a straw. This ain't what you want boy, I'm telling you now."

Sharpe was greatly amused by Ocho's response, which prompted Ocho to say that he's willing to fight him too for suggesting a celebrity boxing match to Lee in the first place. "After I beat his ass, then we gonna fight, too," he said. "I don't care if it's Bruce Lee, Spike Lee, Keith Lee... anybody with the last name Lee gonna get their ass whooped. Matter fact, Lee from Rush Hour, [he] finna get it too. Got me hot."

Lee used to be an MMA fighter, which Nightcap guest J.R. Smith suggested does not bode well for Ocho in a potential fight. "Don't mean he good!" Ocho retorted. "Tell Keith Lee set that shit up, man. Boxing."

Lee, a popular food critic on TikTok, recently sat down for an interview with Sharpe for Club Shay Shay and proposed a celebrity fight with Ocho. 'If I'mma [fight] anybody, let's go Chad," Lee said with a smile. "Come on, Ocho. [He] was talking hot, he was talking crazy! Ocho was talking on a different level, but we've had a conversation since."

Lee was referring to comments Ocho made about his food critic credentials earlier this year, but indicated that they're on friendly terms now. "I come from a place love, man," he added. "Chad didn't mean no harm, but... If you want to put the gloves on, we can put the gloves on. I ain't gonna lie, I'd whoop Chad's ass."
