Stefon Diggs loves Cardi B’s “WAP.” When asked which of her songs is his favorite, Diggs didn’t hesitate.

“I can’t say it,” Diggs joked during Super Bowl media day. “It’s PAW backwards.”

Elsewhere in the presser, Diggs hinted that an engagement with Cardi might be in the future, but only if he wins the Super Bowl.

“After you get your ring, is Cardi getting her ring? Proposal?” a reporter asked Diggs, to which he laughed, “It's on the agenda, right? I gotta get mine first, though.”

The New England Patriots are set to face off against the Seattle Seahawks at the Super Bowl on Sunday (Feb. 8), offering Diggs his first-ever opportunity to secure a Super Bowl ring.

As of October 2024, Diggs has been romantically linked with Cardi B, but they only publicly confirmed their relationship in June the following year. In September, 2025, Cardi announced that she was expecting her first child with Diggs, and they welcomed their son in November. Cardi has been a constant presence at New England Patriots games this NFL season, showing support for her beau.

In the same press conference where he spoke about the potential of getting a ring for Cardi, he also spoke about how much it means to have the rapper showing her support for him.

“When I was a kid, my mama never came to my game. My mama had to go to work. So for me, I would never have thought too much about it,” he explained. “But having a significant other support you, yes, it's a level of appreciation because she's an amazing woman. Being there for me, it's hard, I can imagine. I never want to know that I appreciate her for being there. Not just for the games. Her being there for the games was just more so for her. She wanted to experience it, but she supported me when she wasn't there.”

He added that she doesn’t just show him support at the games, but before and after those she can’t make it to.

“She was watching the game. She was texting me before the game and after the game and checking on me and making sure that I was all right,” he continued. “I be wanting to win so bad. I'd be just crazy about it. I'm obsessed with the game. It's more so just that it's not so much just her coming to the games because that's just like, all right, I want to see her shine. But she ain't that close to the field now. She up in a box!”

He also indicated that he’ll be showing up to support her during her upcoming tour, too, and will also hold up signs at the shows.
