Stefon Diggs offered a cryptic answer when asked about getting a ring for Cardi B, telling reporters “maybe” in response to the question.

“After you get your ring, is Cardi getting her ring?” a reporter asked in a clip that surfaced on Monday.

“It’s on the agenda, maybe, right?” the New England Patriots wide receiver said with a chuckle. “I gotta get mine first, though.”

The exchange comes months after Diggs fueled marriage rumors in November 2025 when he called Cardi B his “esposa”—Spanish for “wife”—in a video with the Patriots’ Spanish-language media team. In the clip, Diggs requested a second hoodie “for mi esposa” and asked for “a mini one” for their newborn son, who arrived that same month.

During a January press conference, the New England Patriots wide receiver spoke about the Am I the Drama? rapper, calling her an "amazing supporter."

Cardi B and Diggs welcomed their first child together, nicknamed Baby Brim, earlier this year. The rapper announced her pregnancy in September 2025 during an interview with CBS Mornings’ Gayle King, saying, “I’m excited. I’m happy. I feel like I’m in a good space.” Cardi, who shares three children—daughters Kulture and Blossom and son Wave—with ex-husband Offset, filed for divorce in 2024.

When asked about baby rumors in September 2025, Diggs deflected with humor. “I won’t talk too much about my personal life, but I heard about it,” he told reporters at a Patriots press conference. The couple has been dating since February 2025, according to Heavy, with Diggs joining the Patriots in April 2025 after a 10-year NFL career.

Engagement speculation first surfaced when Cardi posted photos of Baby Brim to Instagram showing a large ring on her left hand. However, TMZ confirmed through sources that the ring was not an engagement ring. Diggs’ latest “maybe” response leaves the question of a proposal unanswered—for now.
