A Knicks fan got pantsed during a bizarre encounter at the championship parade.
A video making the rounds from the New York Knicks championship celebration on Thursday (June 18) caught an unusual altercation between two fans.
The footage begins with one Knicks fan pulling another woman down from where she was sitting on a streetlight pole and throwing her to the ground.
The woman who was knocked down leaped up, rushed toward her attacker, and pulled down her shorts, exposing the woman’s buttocks before proceeding to further yank on her underwear.
Rather than reacting with embarrassment, the pantsed woman appeared unfazed and began twerking in front of the woman, who seemingly tried to throw a few punches in the mix.
It’s unclear how exactly the encounter ended as the clip ends before things could presumably escalate further.
Thousands of fans packed the streets of lower Manhattan to celebrate the Knicks’ first championship in 53 years.
Mayor Zohran Mamdani, who was at one point seen posing with Jordyn Woods’ lucky bag, made a passionate speech at City Hall before handing the players keys to the city.
Alicia Keys performed “Empire State of Mind,” and Fat Joe and Remy Ma performed their 2004 hit “Lean Back” on a parade float.
The celebrations also saw celebrities including Timothée Chalamet and Ben Stiller, the latter of whom announced that he is working on a Knicks docuseries in collaboration with A24 and HBO.
