Vanessa Bryant took to her Instagram Stories on Sunday night to debunk a fresh wave of online rumors claiming she is pregnant or planning to remarry. The post she shared was a screen grab of a claim reading: "Vanessa Bryant is set to remarry after inheriting a 50% share of Kobe Bryant's wealth, with the remaining 50% being shared among their three daughters."
“Can you guys decide already,” Bryant wrote in response to the false claim. “Am I pregnant for the 100th time or am I getting remarried???”
In a follow-up post to her Stories, Bryant re-shared a passage about people whose zodiac sign is Taurus.
"She is protective of her peace. She will not entertain chaos, inconsistency or anything that disrupts the life she is carefully building,” the post reads.
This is far from the first time Bryant has addressed this kind of speculation as she has been shutting down similar claims for years. Last June, she posted a Rihanna meme flipping the bird alongside a caption making clear she was not pregnant. A few months later, she again addressed pregnancy rumors while drinking a cocktail at a US Open tennis match.
Vanessa’s 25th wedding anniversary with Kobe Bryant was on April 18. The two married in 2001. On May 1, she honored her daughter Gianna Bryant with a tribute on what would have been her 20th birthday. Kobe and Gianna were among nine people killed in a January 2020 helicopter crash in Calabasas, California.
