Vanessa Bryant put a stop to random pregnancy rumors with help from a Rihanna meme over the weekend.

After an unfounded claim was made on social media, likely for engagement, that the widow of Kobe Bryant was expecting a fifth child. Some who believed the pregnancy allegation felt it was a betrayal to the late NBA icon, who died in a 2020 helicopter crash alongside his daughter, Gianna 'Gigi' Bryant, and seven other victims.

On Sunday (June 1), Bryant posted a meme of Rihanna wearing a snorkel mask in the water while holding a drink and flipping off the camera. "Me protecting my peace, not pregnant & having fun all summer," the caption read.

Bryant posted another Rihanna meme to double down on gossip with a caption that read, "I’m not mean, I’m just not the one."

Since the tragic passing of her husband and second-eldest daughter, Bryant has prioritized her role as a mother and protecting her family's legacy, recently unveiling the Kobe and Gianna Bryant Basketball Court in East Los Angeles through the Mamba and Mambacita Sports Foundation. Bryant has also supported her oldest daughter, Natalia, through college and celebrated her recent graduation from the University of Southern California.
