This year's Seattle Seahawks will look a bit different from the previous Seattle teams we've come to know. In addition to adding Brandon Marshall, this offseason the Seahawks have shipped off Richard Sherman and Michael Bennett.
The 'Hawks sent Bennett and a seventh-round pick to the Eagles for wide receiver Marcus Johnson and a fifth-round pick. The week before that move, they released Sherman, who signed with the 49ers.
In an interview with SI.com's Robert Klemko, Sherman reflected on the team's demise. He said "mistakes and poor judgment" had led to the organization changing, as the Seahawks have "just lost their way."
Sherman, 30, is a four-time Pro Bowler. After playing in only nine games last season due to injury, he agreed to a three-year, $39 million deal with San Francisco.
