Steph Curry has nursed a right-ankle injury all season, and as a result, he has only played in 50 of Golden State's 67 games this season. If it weren't for his time on the sidelines, the electric guard would likely have a real shot at winning MVP this season; he's played incredibly efficient basketball and is shooting as well as he ever has.

Klay Thompson, on the other hand, has been healthy all season. He's played in 66 games. However, Thompson suffered a fractured right thumb on his shooting hand in the Warriors' loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves Sunday, and he is expected to miss at least four games, according to a report from Yahoo's Shams Charania.

Curry is expected to be out until at least next week as he nurses his right-ankle injury.

The Warriors, currently second in the West, are pretty banged-up at the moment. Curry, Thompson, Jordan Bell, Andre Iguodala, Draymond Green, Patrick McCaw, and David West are all recovering from injuries.

Thompson is averaging 19.7 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 2.7 assists per game while shooting 44.3 percent from three-point range this season. Curry is averaging 26.3 points, 6.2 assists, and 5.1 rebounds while shooting 42.4 percent from downtown.

Golden State is currently two games behind the Houston Rockets for the No. 1 seed, but the Warriors seem to be taking a cautious approach to bringing their key players back as the postseason looms.
