Steph Curry is quietly having one of the best seasons of his NBA career. Though James Harden and Anthony Davis have seemingly taken over the MVP race, Curry belongs in the conversation. Basketball-Reference currently has four players from the NBA's two best teams as the odds-on favorites: Harden, Chris Paul, Curry, and Kevin Durant.
The Warriors haven't dominated the competition in the regular season, and Curry missed 11 games in December with a sprained right ankle. But the 6-foot-3 sharpshooter has been in rare form.
On Wednesday, Curry will celebrate his 30th birthday. But he already had his celebration on Monday night, and it looks like it was an unforgettable party.
At one point, he actually sat on a stage eating ribs and vibing while E-40 performed the classic "U & Dat" behind him.
His choice of transportation to the party? A yacht. Yes, seriously.
The party involved plenty of Warriors dancing—including, of course, fellow Splash Brother Klay Thompson. China Klay was back for a night!
Klay went so hard that he wiped out.
The Rockets currently hold a two-game lead on the Warriors in the West. If the season ended today, Golden State would play the Clippers in the first round.
