Today, the trash-talking, shot-swatting, rim-rocking NBA icon Kevin Garnett sadly announced his retirement. After 21 seasons in the league, all but eight of which he spent with the Minnesota Timberwolves, the Big Ticket is walking away from the game.
Father Time is undefeated, but seeing another NBA legend retire in the same year as Kobe Bryant and Tim Duncan was crushing for fans and players alike. NBA figures have paid tribute to KG and lamented his retirement on Twitter and Instagram today.
