For the first time ever, Zellerfeld and Nike are introducing a multicolored iteration of their futuristic Air Max 1000.

The 3D-printed Air Max 1000 was unveiled back in November 2024 at ComplexCon before it was finally released to the public in 2025. When it comes to 3D-printed footwear, the brands revealed that there were challenges when it came to printing a silhouette with various colors on it. That issue was addressed with the introduction of Nike's Project Nectar, which debuted on the black and volt Air Max 95000. Continuing the development process is the new multicolored Air Max 1000, shown here.

This latest version uses Zellerfeld's dual-color printing process, allowing colors to be applied to various parts of a 3D-printed sneaker for the very first time. The brands also shared an early look at one of their samples, which featured a two-tone black and lilac makeup.

Nike says that the multicolored Air Max 1000 will release later this year, but a firm date wasn't shared.
