Nike and Zellerfeld just unveiled a new version of their 3D-printed Air Max 1000 sneaker, dubbed the Air Max 1000.2.
The 3D-printing sneaker company and the global sportswear brand confirmed that this second variation of their Air Max 1000 features updates to the outsole geometry, which improve printing efficiency. The first Air Max 1000.2 release dons an all-black color scheme throughout the entirety of the one-piece design, while “AirMax 1000.2” is printed on the Max Air unit on the heel.
The collaborators also revealed a multi-colored version of the Air Max 1000 back in January, which uses Zellerfeld’s new dual-color printing process to create the uppers.
Readers will be able to cop the Nike Air Max 1000.2 starting on May 4 via raffle at Zellerfeld.com for $179. The sneaker will then release on May 7 on the SNKRS app.
