Vince Carter's 2000 Slam Cover Inspires This And1 Tai Chi Collab

Don't expect this pair to release.

Fresh off of showcasing its exclusive Nike Air Zoom Generation in August, Slam Magazine has unveiled another special sneaker collab for its 30th-anniversary celebrations this year.

Next up is this Slam x And1 Tai Chi colorway, which also won't be released to the public. According to the publication, this pair references its 41st issue back in 2000, which featured NBA legend and high-flyer Vince Carter, who was wearing the Tai Chi silhouette.

Slam's version of the And1 sneaker dons hues pulled from the aforementioned cover, with a black and white gradient design on the lateral side of the upper combined with a red nubuck panel on the medial portion. "Slam" branding appears on the tongue tag and heel, while a special 30th-anniversary badge is embroidered by the collar.

As expected, this Slam x And1 Tai Chi collab won't be available to the public. Check out a closer look at the sneaker project below.
