Even before officially making his mark in the NBA, LeBron James was crowned "The Chosen One" as the cover athlete for Sports Illustrated in February 2002, while still attending St. Vincent-St. Mary High School. With that, Nike is commemorating James' high school era with an upcoming LeBron 23 colorway.
Shown here is a first look at the "From This Point Forward" LeBron 23, courtesy of @ImagesbyStashed on X. The makeup is essentially inspired by the home St. Vincent-St. Mary jersey James was wearing on the Sports Illustrated cover, donning a white-based color scheme and green trim running across the midfoot. The standout element of the shoe is the gold "Chosen1" logo on the heel that's tied to what's tattooed on James' back.
As of now, a firm release date for the "From This Point Forward" LeBron 23 has yet to be announced by Nike. Check back soon for new developments in the coming weeks.
