We're only a week removed from LeBron James teasing his all-gold Nike LeBron 23 and now, new images of James' next signature shoe have emerged.
Newly leaked photos of the gold-colored Nike LeBron 23 were shared by Nikelab.jp today. The low-top model is equipped with a gold iridescent upper broken up into two sections with black piping running across the midfoot. The shoe's standout design element is the "40K+" detail on the heel, which is likely a reference to James' current NBA all-time regular season scoring record of 42,184 points. Completing the design is an all-black outsole.
Despite new images of the gold LeBron 23 colorway surfacing, release details for the sneaker have yet to be announced by James or Nike. Check back soon for new developments in the coming weeks.
UPDATE (09/08): As announced by Nike last week, the debut "Uncharted" LeBron 23 colorway will launch first in China on Sept. 25. The global release will take place on Oct. 3 via SNKRS and at select retailers for $210.
