There has been much speculation this summer that Nike Basketball was planning to release the "Immortalized" styles that its signature players wore on the court at the Paris Olympics last year. Out of nowhere, today, the two LeBron 22s from the collection were released, and they weren't easy to acquire.
As confirmed on LeBron James and his LeBron James Family Foundation's House Three Thirty Instagram, only eight sets of the two-shoe "Immortal" LeBron 22 pack were available at the House Three Thirty community center in Akron, OH, and on its website for $510. The Olympics-themed pack features metallic gold and metallic blue LeBron 22 colorways worn by James at last year's Summer Olympics in Paris.
Given the exclusivity of the set, the "Immortal" LeBron 22 pack sold out quickly, but according to leaker @Brandon1an, the styles are expected to release individually at a later date. Grab a closer look at both colorways below as we await official details on the individual releases of the shoes.
