Asics is collaborating with the Australian clothing brand Jungles Jungles for a one-of-a-kind Gel-Cumulus 16 collab.
According to the collaborators, this project is part of the footwear brand's "Crafts for Minds" program, which focuses on partnering with various designers across the globe for a good cause. The brands confirm that this collaborative Gel-Cumulus 16 features special airbrushing techniques and Jungles Jungles' signature aesthetic. Jungles Jungles branding is also stamped on the heel, while additional hardware details appear around the collar.
A limited run of the Jungles Jungles x Asics Gel-Cumulus 16 will be available at the Asics SportStyle pop-up shop at the Chinatown Country Club in Sydney, from Aug 14 to 16, and at the No Vacancy Gallery in Melbourne from Aug. 20 to 23. The sneaker will also release on Aug. 22 via the Complex Shop and at Junglesjungles.com for $240 AUD, which converts to around $156. It's worth mentioning that the proceeds from the shoe purchased at the pop-ups will be donated to The Torch organization, which teaches art skills to incarcerated Indigenous men and women in Australia.
